About Vivian Wearing

Born into a family of fine horseman, Vivian inherited many of her attributes from her late father, Bob Wearing.

Vivian took an interest in the Western Performance Horse at a very young age. She attended her first cutting school at the age of six, instructed by the legendary Pine Johnson.

Campaigning in all events, she went on to be High Point A.A.A. Youth of Australia twice and High Point Youth in 1976 & 1977 at the Victorian State Appaloosa Championships.

After a move to Inverell N.S.W, Vivian decided to further her education with the cutting horse. So off to the U.S.A, for twelve months to train under the 1983 World Non-Pro Champion John Paxton.

Since returning, Vivian was trainer and Stud Manager for over two years at the W.B.Bar Dot Stud in Strathpine Qld.

Vivian is currently living on the Northside of Brisbane and is available for private lessons and clinics and will travel to many locations in Australia.
